Transmission of values, traditions, ways and mores and all the progress achieved by mankind has traveled from generation to generation on the ever existing chariot of
education in any society, right from the primitive era of human existence. It has been a mode- formal, nonformal or informal, to accelerate the process of transmission of culture and civilization catering for social control on one hand and advancement on the other. In its pursuit to strive for social equilibrium, Education in the country like ours always remains to be evaluated from the angle of psychological differentiation and stratification present in the social order to address appropriately the questions related to harmony and equality.

Shivam college of Education is a humble step in this regard. The Society, we have at our credit the achievement of maintaining congenial educational environment in imparting teachers' training to pupil teachers for Since five years and are delivering the same this year too with the reinforced inspiration,
motivation and commitment. The society as a team, with its estimable galaxy of the management committee, experienced members of faculty, students and parents will go a long way to serve the cause of Education, particularly to transform the pupil-teachers in the long protracted path of enlightenment.
The faculty, staff and students (especially Coordinators of different activities) have put in their best efforts to improve the academic ambience of the Institute. During this period our role has been to decentralize and facilitate all to become organization's people which are going to be the major strength of this Institute in future. It has helped all employees to set up the goals for institutional and personal development and make action plan to achieve the objectives. A team functions well when people try to serve the team instead of serving themselves. Hence it is ;the team afforts which Resulted in NAAC
accreditated of the Institution. We look forward for blessing and guidance of all concerned including the Punjabi University, Patiala, Government of Punjab, 'NAAC' and NCTE.
